The following learning activity was created by Liviu Rebreanu National College, Romania as part of the activities described in the European program Erasmus+ School Key Action 2 —Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices -Strategic partnerships in the field of education, training and youth.

The aim of the following E-Lesson is to make the geography class about the Danube Delta (one of the world’s most remarkable places, a real sanctuary to many species of animals and plants) more interesting, accessible and student-friendly. It can be a useful tool to engage students in the learning activity as well as to motivate students to learn on their own but with the guidance of the teacher.

Objectives:

At the end of the lesson the students will be able to:

          -locate the Danube Delta on the map

          -name animals and plants

          -identify different kinds of birds

          -talk about the inhabitants and their way of life

          -talk about the importance of preserving the area
